Getting Around in St.Kitts

There are a few ways to get around while in St.Kitts, from Taxi's, Vehicle Rental or Public transportation. Taxis are located in three main parts of the island, the Circus (the center of town), the Airport, and at the different Hotels. Car rentals can be arranged before coming to the island, and can meet you at the airport or your hotel when you arrive. Public transportation is by far the cheapest of all three, though unlike the others, the buses travel on predetermined routes, and rarely vary from it. Getting around town is easier by foot, that way you can leisurely enjoy the sights in and around Basseterre.
